In 2023 a group of researchers led by Sara Kinsbergen from the Radboud University studied the role that CIGS from France, Belgium, Denmark and the Netherlands play in Senegal and Nepal. This research provided new insights in the importance of CIGS and as well about the impact the support they receive in their countries of origin has on the role they can play in the global south. The research helps support organisations and policymakers to better understand how they should evaluate their own role, this in order to maximise the contribution they make through CIGS to global sustainable development. You can find this study and others in ourĀ research library.
