Social media contest Mindchangers

Member organisations COP and RESACOOP participate in the project Mindchangers – Regions and Youth for Planet and People that launched a new social media contest! The social media contest is aimed at young people living in the EU aged between 18 and 35. The request is to produce a short video that shows their commitment to a more just and sustainable future. The concept of the contest is “The future will thank you”, linked to the promotion video recently published.
The winning person will be able to participate in the closing event of Mindchangers which will be held from 23 to 25 September in Brussels. Furthermore, the winning video will be disseminated through the project channels throughout Europe.
The deadline for participation is April 3rd 2024.

To participate you must fill out the form and upload a video that is:

– focused around the concept “the future will thank you” & related to climate and/or social justice
– in any of the 24 official languages of the EU
– subtitled in English
– in 9:16 format
– no longer than 90 seconds
– max 500 MB

The capacity building working group focuses on training activities that are organised by the members to strengthen the capacities of CIGS.

The funding working group exchanges practices on processes and procedures for funding of CIGS and their development activities in the global South.

The research working group unveils valuable insights in the CIGS communities and their relevance for sustainable development and in mobilising the public to engage in international solidarity.

The coordination group undertakes action in European matters of relevance for CIGS or for the members of the network. This is the management and the organisations of the network as a whole.
