At the 29th of March Lafede.cat from Barcelona joined the network. Lafede.cat is a network that supports its members in working actively on global solidarity and equality both in Catalonia and in other parts of the world. It works with its members on international cooperation, peace building and strengthening human rights.
Lafede.cat has been cooperating closely with several of the members of the network earlier and represents an organisation that not only supports CIGS with capacity building and funding opportunities, but as well has a strong focus on representing the causes that the CIGS that are part of their network on a more political level. Lafede.cat takes an active stand on themes related to human rights and works closely with the regional authorities of Catalonia and of the city of Barcelona.
