Join Our Webinar: Strengthening European Collaboration for CIGS in Ukraine

The European Network for Citizen Initiatives in Global Solidarity (ENfCIGS) warmly invites representatives of European civil society organisations (CSOs), funders, and networks working in or for Ukraine—especially those supporting small CSOs—to participate in an interactive webinar on 12 February 2026.
Across Europe, many organisations and funders are engaged in supporting Ukrainian partners and communities under threat. Yet visibility of each other’s work remains limited. This webinar aims to bring these actors together to exchange experiences, increase mutual understanding, and explore how we can collectively strengthen the relevance and impact of our initiatives in Ukraine.
What to expect
During this 90‑minute online session, participants will have the opportunity to:

  • share their current activities and approaches in Ukraine,
  • learn from one another’s experiences and challenges,
  • discuss how better coordination could enhance effectiveness and reduce duplication,
  • build connections with organisations working in similar regions or thematic areas.

To help guide the discussion, we invite you to reflect beforehand on:

  • What kind of support does your organisation currently provide in Ukraine?
  • In which Ukrainian regions or localities are you active?
  • What is your budget for activities in Ukraine?
  • How does your organisation support people and communities in Ukraine?
  • What are the three key challenges you are encountering in your work?

We hope to welcome you at the webinar.

The funding working group exchanges practices on processes and procedures for funding of CIGS and their development activities in the global South.

The research working group unveils valuable insights in the CIGS communities and their relevance for sustainable development and in mobilising the public to engage in international solidarity.

The coordination group undertakes action in European matters of relevance for CIGS or for the members of the network. This is the management and the organisations of the network as a whole.
