Should we improve or reimaging international cooperation?
Global budget cuts, national priorities taking over from international cooperation and civil society under pressure. International cooperation is at a crossroads. It is clear that international cooperation needs to take a new direction. But what will the international cooperation of the future look like? This question will be discussed during this webinar on the 10th of March from 19:00 till 21:00, by university lecturer Zunera Rana, Director of International Affairs at 11.11.11 Serge Beel, and Professor occupying an endowed chair Sara Kinsbergen.

Sara Kinsbergen is a special professor at Radboud University in Nijmegen. Since 1 July 2023, Kinsbergen has held a special chair focused on the role of citizens in sustainable social development. The chair is co-financed by the Wilde Ganzen Foundation. She works within the Department of Cultural Anthropology and Development Studies (CAOS) at Radboud University.
Zunera Rana works as a postdoctoral researcher in the Department of Cultural Anthropology and Development Sociology at Radboud University and as a lecturer for the AMID programme at the Radboud Centre for Social Sciences. In addition, she has conducted research on issues related to algorithmic decision‑making systems and their social acceptance. She enjoys combining her research interests with contemporary methods from machine learning and statistics.
Serge Beel was for many years the Director of International Services at 11.11.11. For the past year, he has been Director of People and Organisational Development at 11.11.11. In recent years, Serge Beel has been strongly committed to everything related to Shift the Power. He coordinates the entire process around Shift the Power and decolonisation within the international solidarity movement.
